It was a relatively quiet week for Initial Public Offerings.

Four companies went public:

  • ARKO Petroleum (NASDAQ: APC): $200m raised at $18 / share

  • AGI (NYSE: AGI): $240m raised at $12 / share

  • SOLV Energy (NASDAQ: MHW): $513 raised at $25 / share

  • Jaguar Uranium (NASDAQ: JAGU): $25m raised at $4 / share

Do you want to invest in IPOs before they start trading?

The best performer was SOLV Energy with gains of 27% from the IPO price. The worst performer was Jaguar Energy with a 16% decline.

Seven companies filed IPO Prospectus with the Securities & Exchange Commission this week.

This included three blank check SPACs that each plan to raise $100 - $250m. There were three tiny stocks that plan to raise less than $20 million each – Hacker Interstellar, BioVentrix and SALM Chain.

The most sizable deal to file this week is PayPay. This is Japan’s leading financial technology company. The company provides payment rails allowing for e-commerce transactions.

Goldman Sachs is the lead underwriter and is joined by JP Morgan and Mizuho. They plan to raise $2 billion in capital at a valuation of $10 - $20 billion.

Softbank is a major investor in PayPay. This will be an upcoming IPO that I plan to watch closely. Stay tuned!
