Editor’s Note: Quantum computing stocks are soaring 187%, 413% and even 1,332%. Now a new quantum security company is preparing to open a final Pre-IPO financing – before going public on Nasdaq or the NYSE.
Anthropic (private) is now the frontrunner in the race to become the next mega IPO.
The maker of the Claude AI model confidentially filed its IPO paperwork with the SEC on June 1. That filing came just days after Anthropic closed a $65 billion funding round at a $965 billion post-money valuation.
That market value makes Anthropic the most valuable private AI company in the world. OpenAI was last valued at $852 billion.
And this week, the race got more interesting.
OpenAI is now considering pushing its own IPO to 2027, according to Bloomberg. The company had been targeting a fall listing. Recent volatility in tech stocks appears to have influenced a possible delay in the timing.

That sets the stage for Anthropic to be the next AI giant to hit Wall Street.
The growth story explains the urgency.
Anthropic's annualized revenue run rate has reportedly reached roughly $47 billion, up from about $9 billion at the end of last year. That's a fivefold jump in six months, driven largely by enterprise adoption and its Claude Code tools for software developers.
OpenAI meanwhile is running at roughly $25 billion annualized revenue. Anthropic started from a smaller base and has pulled ahead on reported run-rate revenue.
So when can we expect does Anthropic to go public?
No official date has been set. The confidential filing only starts the clock. From here, the SEC reviews the paperwork privately, a process that usually takes a few weeks to a few months. After that comes the public S-1, then a roadshow with investors, then pricing.
The aggressive target is October. The consensus view on Wall Street points to the fourth quarter, with some forecasts landing as late as December. Market conditions will impact any decision to move forward.
The public S-1 is the document to watch. It will show audited financials, customer concentration, and an actual price range — the real numbers we've been waiting for.
Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and JPMorgan are leading the offering. Bankers expect it to raise more than $60 billion.
Do you want to invest in stocks – before the IPO?
I’m personally investing in a new quantum computing security company. It could be critical to securing banks, digital assets, medical records, and our nation’s infrastructure and defense systems from quantum computing threats.
The company is preparing to raise a FINAL Pre-IPO financing.
